BBLCricketMaths: On The Floor (B)

RESULTS 13 to 16, AND MATCHES 17 to 20.
Last week we had our first BBL T20 Philosophy 101 exam question:
If you hit a fixed grandstand roof anywhere, it's 6 runs. But if you hit a fixed roof, in an enclosed stadium (with a retractable roof) its a dead ball.
Discuss.

Only to be followed up by the Renegades playing with the roof open in the recent set of matches. This then leads into the next obvious (but untested question)...

If you hit a fixed grandstand roof anywhere, it's 6 runs. But if you hit a fixed roof, in an enclosed stadium, with the retractable roof open, is it still a dead ball?
Discuss.

Continuing lulz at the future of cricket.

Results here, and for you who must know, that's a huge 4 from 4 accuracy on the tip this week! Season to date running at 50%.
And worth noting, we were 1 run out in the Hurricanes win too.

Observant will note the Hurricanes won, but lost ranking points. This is because they failed to win by the expected margin, so cop a penalty. The counterpoint to that, is that the Thunder were slightly better than expected, so increase by 1pt.

Which, by our method puts the standings as:
Results in a table form                                     Rankings

The Scorchers didn't play, and hold 4th place in our rankings. The Sixers played twice, losing both, so accumulate a -25pts drop and slide to 7th (i.e. second last).
The two Melbourne teams and Adelaide are the clear leaders.

TIPS:
And the next matches tip are as below.

Best set of 4 games for the series here... three games get a 1 run margin tipped, though in reality the Adelaide / Stars game could be 'a tie'. Our prediction leaned to the home side by a 0.07 run margin.
