22- Almost Locked Down

The ultimate round of the season is all that remains.
Predicting the 9th position team that may or may not get a lucky finals slot is the topic du-jour this week (if that makes sense).
Without doing a full 'Checking Course' statistical analysis of where the teams will finish, we believe:
9th will be filled by Carlton (82% likelihood).
In the rare event that it's not Carlton's, then we have 9th for North Melbourne (11%), Brisbane (4%) and Adelaide (3%).
Port are locks for 8th.

Elsewhere, its Hawthorn 60% for 1st, Geelong 46% in 2nd, Fremantle 86% to finish 3rd and Sydney will finish 4th. 5th still Richmond (71%), 6th is Collingwoods (71%) and Essendon in 7th (71%).

THE RESULTS:
Another burger opportunity lost on the poor kicking by Carlton. Otherwise 8 in the bag, and very close margins tipped for the Adelaide and Hawthorn wins.

Fremantle and the Western Bulldogs are both up by +24 this week, with the Doggies scoring 0.2 points more that the Dockers to be the best of the week.

Over to the table, and we now have Geelong moving into 2nd spot after the big win over Sydney, who drop to 3rd.

Adelaide and West Coast both sit on 1139 points in 9th and 10th, but looking deeper it is Adelaide on 1138.8 points and West Coast on 1138.6 points.
And the two teams meet next week!

The other change has been in the continued rise of the Bulldogs, and the continued slide of the Saints. St Kilda did win and gain 11 ranking points, bu the Bulldogs gained more for their win to climb over them to 14th.
