Cracking return to form... or what should be normal
While the result was only 7 from the 9 available, its still a great return to have had three games tipped inside the 1 goal margin, and another out by 7points

Big winners for the week were Richmond and Geelong, with their opponents suffering the worst. Adelaide the third worst outcome... handy to beat Carlton, but should have done much better.


Just the one change in the ranking table, as Fremantle's run at second is ended, courtesy of the  Richmond boilover in the west. Freo drops back to third and the Swans return to second.

Also, oddly, its a very 'un-Melbourne' football top 8. We have both WA and SA sides joining Sydney in the top 8, with the Geelong (not strictly 'Melbourne Metro area) and Hawthorn and North Melbourne (who both play games away from Melbourne) filling the other spots.
