ARCHIVING: 2015's BLOWOUTS

As has been done in years past, it is also done for season 2015.
The full list of games with margin results over and including 60 points (10 goals) is as below.

In 2015, a season high 48 games broached the blow-out limit. That's 23.3% of games in the year. Or 2 games a round.
This eclipses previous highest seasons and benchmarks. They were:
- 2014:  A total of 44 games decided by 10 goals or more
- 2013:  A total of 41 games decided by 10 goals or more, but the spread was into the higher margins.

This in a season shortened by the 1 game cancelled post the murder of Adelaide coach Philip Walsh.

As posited before, there is a clear link to the financial health of football clubs to their performance.

Looking at the teams that formed the bulk of the shellackings... on the receiving end:
Carlton9
Brisbane Lions7
Gold Coast5
St Kilda5
Essendon4
Melbourne4

Handing out the thrashings:
Hawthorn10
West Coast5
W Bulldogs/FFC4
Sydney/SMFC4

Of course... Hawthorn.
