20. SCHEDULED PROGRAMMING

A lot has been said about 'dud scheduling' by the AFL this year, and a fair bit of it gets slated home on the back of "imagine giving Richmond and Collingwood prime TV time".
And yes, 20 rounds in (hey even 10 rounds in) it was a prime time slot that lacked spark. And with those rose coloured hindsight glasses that are so good at mixing metaphors, yuo would say today that the Western Bulldogs / North Melbourne game would be better under Friday's night lights.

But the key word is 'hindsight'. Last year when all was being scheduled, it would have looked a better proposition. But then, you know, the best laid plans of mice...

Adelaide are grateful recipients of copping Essendon and Brisbane back to back. Both tipped to be 82 points wins, and both percentage in the bank and lock-in-that-top-4-spot-please-Mr.-McLaughlin.

Besides the above, expect Collingwood to do a number on Richmond.
Not sure there is much else out there this week, apart from good luck picking Dogs/Roos and Blues/Saints.
