Simply the best team over the whole of the first 2 seasons of AFLW, but just not on the days when the trophies were handed out.
As per the prediction in the previous AFLW blog post, Brisbane were tipped to win if both teams had no home ground advantage. But with the final in Melbourne, and travel a factor, the tip went to the Bulldogs by 6 points. Which was the eventual result.

So that wraps up another great year of elite level AFLW football, with the footy being great, and the AFLW (and AFL) admin... not so great.
There is of course local women's footy starting up all over in the next few weeks so there is more than enough footy to see you through until we do it all again next year, with new teams and a longer season.
