On the Tip (4)

The fourth challenge has been run and won. In this edition, it was
FootyMaths supercomputer  v  David Pope  v  John Carr  v  Lucas Garth (using a math model) .

This week the result didn't revolve on the Essendon game, but the two key games that were different:
      North Melbourne v Carlton, and
      West Coast v Sydney

And the weekend kicked off well for the pair tipping on instinct, taking on the early lead as North Melbourne scooted home.
This meant the only hope for maths and the machine was for West Coast to defeat Sydney... which of course didn't happen.

The only way we could consider describing this was...

The biggest loss in the challenge to date... well played John and David.

...and if you must want to see a list of the tippers in order, you would give

-   GOLD:    John (@TheHolyBoot), with 8 correct, (winner on countback by the Sydney margin)
-  SILVER:  David (@davpope), also with 8 correct,
-  BRONZE:  Lucas (@lucasgarth) sneaks in for a podium with 6 correct and tipping 'closer' on the margin.

We come a very disappointing last. 6 correct.

Our record:
Three tipping challenges:      2 wins     2 losses.
