Round 20: Crunch Time

An interesting week. Drugs, drink and on-field lip. None of it good, and poor timing as teams prepare for finals, or lists are being looked at for 2013.
In the football world, all eyes are on the players... on the oval and beyond.

It is also that time of the season where the veterans begin to think of 2013 and beyond. And first on the list is Brad Green. Well played, in good seasons and bad. Enjoy the next phase of your life.

But back to the park and this weeks games...
- West Coast and Geelong in a danger game... still possible to slip out.
- Fremantle must keep winning to press for a finals berth. Adelaide need to keep winning to hold a top 4 spot.
- Carlton and St Kilda, with the slimmest of chances also must keep on winning.
- Swans and the Magpies seem locked into the top 4, but dropping one is also trouble.
- Essendon and the Kangaroos in a real 8 point game. Lose this and the finals might slip away.

But enough waffling on...

Here are the Round 20 predictions...
And another difficult week is tossed up for Round 20.
Four games tipped for under 1 goal margins, and another for a  3 goal margin.

And the game we nominate as the close one, is the top of the table clash
Sydney -v- Collingwood, with the Swans in by 2 points.

To the tips...

Just the one game tipped for the Blow-Out Bin this week, and its again not the GWS game. With the GWS and Suns playing each other, they both avoid a blowout nomination. Unfortunately, Port Adelaide don't, and we expect a 71pt defeat by Hawthorn for the Power.

Another tipping challenge has been issued, and as it looks another tough week, we hope for a good response... Check back on Tuesday for the update!

MEZZOCULO INDEX - The last 5, and the next 3:
Here is the Mezzoculo Index again, showing form vs expectation.

Looking at the four games tipped for margins under 1 goal:
 - Geelong are slightly down on form compared to West Coast, so we could be wrong on that tip, but only if the Eagles turn up to play.
 - Sydney are the best team of the last 5 weeks, so if this form is maintained, they should defeat Collingwood.
 - Essendon are tipped to lose, and are also down on form compared to North Melbourne, so this game should go as tipped.
 - Richmond are just into positive form territory while the Bulldogs are second worst. THis should also go as tipped.
